Distance Sales Agreement

1. Parties

This Distance Sales Agreement (the "Agreement") is concluded electronically between:

BUYER
The natural or legal person purchasing the service and providing their details in the order/quote form.

2. Subject

This Agreement governs the rights and obligations of the parties regarding the translation and interpreting services ordered electronically by the BUYER via globridgetranslations.co.uk, in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation.

3. Service and Price

The type of service (certified translation, interpreting, localization, etc.), language pair, scope, delivery time and total price are stated clearly in the quote and on the payment screen. Pricing is generally based on the source word count, language pair and the required certification level. All amounts apply in the currency and amount displayed at the time of payment.

4. General Provisions

  • The BUYER confirms having read the essential characteristics, price and delivery time of the service and having given the necessary electronic approval.
  • The BUYER must provide complete and accurate source documents. The SELLER is not liable for delays or errors arising from incomplete or incorrect source material.
  • The SELLER provides the service with professional care and confidentiality.

5. Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to services that have begun with the consumer's consent. Accordingly:

  • If the BUYER cancels before work begins, the amount paid is refunded.
  • Once work has begun, the service is prepared specifically for the BUYER, so the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised and no refund is issued.

6. Performance and Delivery

The translation is delivered electronically (by email or as a downloadable file via the site) within the agreed period. For certified deliveries, the delivery method is stated in the quote.

7. Confidentiality

The SELLER keeps all documents and information confidential and does not share them with third parties except as necessary to perform the service. See our Privacy Policy for data processing details.

8. Force Majeure

Neither party is liable for failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control (natural disaster, war, epidemic, infrastructure/power/internet outages, etc.).

9. Disputes

Disputes arising from this Agreement are subject to the competent Consumer Arbitration Committees and Consumer Courts in accordance with applicable law.

10. Entry into Force

This Agreement enters into force upon the BUYER's electronic confirmation of the order/payment and is deemed read and accepted by the parties.
